As of January 13, 2020, TUV SUD, a leading testing and certification institution in Germany, has appointed Seo Jung-wook, general manager of the business unit, as the new CEO and president of TUV SUD Korea.

The new CEO Jeong-wook Seo was elected as the new CEO of TUV SUD Korea in recognition of his rapid growth in the business department based on his abundant field experience, progressive business strategy establishment, and outstanding performance ability.

Since joining in 2005, CEO Seo Jeong-wook has been leading the market by pioneering a new functional safety field that was unfamiliar in Korea at the time, serving as the team leader of the railway team in 2010. He also served as General Manager of the Railroad and Automobile Business Unit in 2013 and Head of Architecture and Transportation Headquarters in 2017, creating synergies through technical and human exchanges between various business units.

Based on this, from 2019, he was appointed as the general manager of the entire business division of TUV SUD Korea, laying the foundation for cooperation between each business division and new business development.
